Critical Reception regarding Jordan's performance:
-
"Broadway-caliber triple-threats...Jordan Goodsell as an assortment of dastardly Hakujin...all shine, with Goodsell earning added kudos for crooning “With You” with silky 1940s pipes." - Steven Stanley of Stage Scene LA
-
"Throughout the period of the 40s America is represented by one private at arms who handles all the policing (a strong Jordan Goodsell)." - Don Grigware, Los Angeles Lead Critic of Broadway World
-
"Camp life is a heartbreaking, dehumanizing existence for all: communal, filthy bathroom facilities, limited food and supplies, lack of access to healthcare, and combative, unfeeling, and blatantly racist white military personnel charged with policing the camps (all personified by Jordan Goodsell, tasked to portray pretty much every white male that appears in the show, bless him)." - Michael L. Quintos of On Stage Blog

-
"Standout soloists include Jordan Goodsell as Anselmo and Jeremy Rabb as Padre" - Dana Martin of Stage Raw

"Uplifting...one of the best shows in town" - Hollywood Progressive

UMPO HOCUS POCUS
September 21-November 4, 2017 @ Rockwell Table & Stage
Jordan played Max in the UMPO (Unauthorized Musical Parody of) HOCUS POCUS at the Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles.
Critical Reception regarding Jordan's performance:
-
"Jordan Goodsell plays the exceedingly sexually frustrated Max Dennison and thus gives a tremendously energetic and appropriately awkward performance. The object of Max’s affection is the “exposition at best” Allison, who is played by Ashley Argota. As Max and Allison, Goodsell and Argota share a spectacularly comical chemistry, and even show off their musical talent by simultaneously singing Green Day’s “Basket Case” and Avril Lavigne’s “Sk8er Boi.” The two turn the dial to eleven, underscoring the ludicrousness of their characters with a tongue-in-cheek quality that pulls us in for the side-splitting ride." - LA Excites
-
"Goodsell wins hearts as fish-out-of-water Max" - Steven Stanley of Stage Scene LA
There is a TON of video footage on YouTube of the show.

HAIRSPRAY
June-August 2015:
Jordan played Corny Collins in the Chance Theatre's production of Hairspray.
Critical Reception regarding Jordan's performance:
-
"Mr. Goodsell imbues Corny Collins with a good deal more humanity and a good deal less smarm than the way this character is typically played." - Bill Eadie of Talkin' Broadway
-
"In addition, sporting a brilliant tooth-paste smile and pristinely lacquered hair, Jordan Goodsell is appropriately charming and unctuous as small-time TV host “Corny Collins”. He shines presiding over “The Nicest Kids In Town” (which introduces his fresh-faced, strictly-Caucasian troupe,) then subsequently in the big title number." - BuckingTrends
-
"Other cast standouts include...the sarcastic Jordan Goodsell as wide-smiling TV host Corny Collins." - Michael L. Quintos of BroadwayWorld
-
"Jordan Goodsell pays engaging tribute to Dick Clark and his afterschool ilk as Corny Collins." - Steven Stanley of Stage Scene LA
